Discipling Community Children

Churches that are serious about reaching out to the children in their community will want to read this! Bliss Summit Bible Camp wants to partner with your local ministry to help you disciple the children within your reach. This partnership will take us down four steps this year and can begin right now.

• Step 1—You gather kids from your community and help them get to Bliss Summit Bible Camp. This is going to take more than just handing out brochures. You may need to help these kids financially and even be willing to provide transportation. These efforts will be worth it because…
• Step 2—Bliss Summit introduces these kids to Christ in fun and creative ways. We have them for a whole week in a very specific environment that we create to let them know they are loved and have a real purpose in life. It's an atmosphere of emotional security with no distractions where they can encounter the Creator of the universe. We also cultivate spiritual growth through Bible teaching, verse memorization, scripture songs, teaching them how to apply the Bible, teaching them how to serve, and of course having loads of fun! After all we are not running a monastery.
• Step 3—Camp then relays the information back to your church about how the week went for your campers, exciting things that happened, decisions that where made, and any spiritual growth. We are not able to hand out contact information about campers. It would be irresponsible of us and dangerous for our campers. That is why it is so important for your church to be active in gathering your local kids.
• Step 4—Your church then follows up with the children and they continue their spiritual growth though your ministry!

Developing Ministry Leaders

We can help your church train tomorrows ministry leaders.

• Step one – Teens and college age attainders get a passion for serving as you influence their spiritual development.
• Step two – They are encouraged to serve God by being on staff at Bliss Summit Bible Camp making a difference in the lives of others
• Step three – They are taught how to love people and minister to then. They also get Bible training, leadership training, ministry training, and other training related to practical life (ex. CPR certification)
• Step four – They get hands on experience in an encouraging environment.
• Step five – Finally they return as servant leaders to build up the Church.

Facilitating Growth

Bring back that sense of family in your church. Reconnect the small groups. Build up the relational community that the church is known for. Invite seekers out to a non-threatening environment for coffee and talks. Whatever your need to connect with people Bliss Summit Bible Camp is here to serve you. Bring your church family together some Sunday night for coffee, table games, sledding, ping-pong, and great conversations.

We are here to assist you by helping facilitate growth among your church members. The charge for using the camp for the day is only a donation. Get more information on holding a retreat at bliss.
